Can you believe it's once more Blog-Hop-Time? Ohhhh my, Elisabeth Bell did again a terrific job by designing this adorable image. Well, to be honest there isn't one I don't like from her entire collections. I not only love this new image because it's so cute but also because it's one for the boys. Yeeeeahhh, it's always very nice and useful to have an image for the boys/men. So this one will be one of my favourites!

Hello everyone!

It's been a long time since I last posted something on my blog. Ohhh my, time is flying so quickly and I'm just running from one wedding to another one. ;-) Lucky me I find some little time to craft. Well, sometimes you have to set priority. ;-) It is with great pleasure that today is the release day for Elisabeth Bell's brand-new March Digi image. This image is not only my favourite because it's the cutest ever.... but it's also, and especially because of that, because it's dedicated to me as it is my birthday digi image. Little old me is not only having birthday (I stopped counting at 25 *lol*) but today is also the release day for the February Digi. So lots of good reasons for celebrating! My hubby and I met once a man in Down Under who said: "You are here for a good time, not for a long time!" Ohhh, he's so right. :-)

Hello everybody!

Today I have a new card for you, using this adorable digi image, designed by the very talented Elisabeth Bell. The image is called "I love you this much" and can be found in Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection Gallery.

I finally used my new sewing machine that I got from my parents. Ohh, I just love my new "toy". Of course I still need some practice but so far I am quite happy with my first attempt. ;-) I hope you like it too.

Again I coloured the image with my Copic Sketch Markers and used lots of stickles. Just can't resist to it. ;-)

Rachel, little Angel

Hello everybody

It's been a long time since I last posted a card on the Digi Bells Blog. So I am very happy that I can present you now my latest work.
Today I have used this cute digi image called "Rachel, little Angel" and made an easel-card. This adorable digi image and many more can be found in Elisabeth Bell's Digital Gallery.
This time I wanted to sew a little bit, so I used a template that I found once on the internet. OMG, sewing everything on my own took me longer than doing the rest of the card. *lol*
Doesn't matter, I like the way it turned out and I hope you like it too. Around the image I have attached a ribbon, which gives the card a nice touch.

Ohhhhh, I am totally excited... My Sister recently received a sewing machine from our parents. I was very happy for her because I knew that she totally freaked out. Well, guess what I got now? I also received the same sewing machine. Yeeeeeeaaahhh, I have for sure the best parents in this whole world.
I am just copying the picture from my Sister's Blog to show you my new *baby*. Isn't it just BEAUTIFUL?

Since practice makes perfect, I want to experiment now a lot, so that next time I can show you a "sewed card". :-)))

EBW Challenge Blog - January Project

Hello everybody!

Today is again the 25th. One of my favourite days every month. It doesn't only mean that the salary is coming... *lol* It also means that it's challenge time over at the Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog. In case you missed last month' challenge, don't worry because today and every 25th of the month you get a new chance to participate.
This month the challenge is to alter anything but it must have the theme of LOVE, which should be an easy one, so close to Valentine's Day. ;-)

It's mere chance that every image that I used herefore is from Whiff of Joy but they just fit perfectly together. The main image called "Willow with Gingerbread heart" is from the winter collection but can easily be used for different occasions. The rest of it, such as embellishments and Design Paper are from my stash. The image is coloured as always with my "magic" Copic Markers. I would never ever give them away. *lol*
Eventhough it's obvious, I still have to say that I just love EVERYTHING that Elisabeth Bell creates. I wonder how my life was before I met her and found her amazing designs. :-)

Elisabeth Bell's January Digi Blog Hop

Hello everybody

It's been a long time since I last posted but today I am very happy and proud to present you Elisabeth Bell's brand-new January Digi image called "My Prince". I can't believe it myself what she does every time to show us the most wonderful images. I am sure you will love it as much as I do. :-)
The image straight away reminded me of the beautiful Walt Disney Movie "Kiss the Frog". Well, I coloured the princess the same way as in the movie.

It seems that since yesterday afternoon I have got the stomach flu. Great!
Ohhhh, I was so happy to enjoy the weekend but now I am afraid I will spend it walking from the bed to the bathroom. :-(

Ok, let's move on now to my little project. Since this Blog Hop is "candy-related", I created this candybox and filled it with little chocolates called "Bacio", which are originally from Italy. They are just too yummi! :-)

Li'l Cowboy

Hello everybody and happy Wednesday!

Over night it started again to snow a lot, here in Switzerland. Maybe it will last for a while and we are going to have a white Christmas. ;-)
It's been a long time since I last made a "male-card". For sure it's never bad to have some on stock. ;-) I tried to keep it simple and not to use many Embellishments, which for me was not so easy. Well, at the end I couldn't resist to some stickles but I think it fits well. What do you think?

Ginnie, Gliding with Butterflies

Hello everyone!

For all of you living in the States... How was your Thanksgiving? I very much hope you had a wonderful day and a BIIIIG Turkey. :-)
Two days ago it started to snow in Switzerland. To look at it, it's actually very beautiful but I nevertheless don't really like it. Too cold for me. Yes I know, I'm not a real Swiss. *lol*

EBW Challenge Blog - November Project

Hello everybody!

Today it's already the 25th. Do you know what this means??? It's again Challenge time over at the Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog.
This month the project will be to make "anything christmas". So this should be an easy one, since it totally fits to the season. Please make ANYTHING BUT A CARD or a card with lots of different folds. You choose...

I saw the idea of a "candy box" in the latest Magnolia Ink Magazine "Christmas Edition". This project was so easy and fun to do and is apart from that a lovely gift. On the lid of my box, I have used Elisabeth Bell's adorable Digital Stamp called "Eden's Second Christmas" which you can find in her Digital Collection Gallery. Isn't Eden a real cutie?

A Tasty Read

Hello everyone!

I hope all is fine with you. Today, after two days of strong wind and heavy rain, the sun is finally back. Yeeppiiii
It is such a beautiful day that my card which I would like to present you, expresses exactly what I will do: Go outside, reading a good book and eat something healthy. *lol*
This very cute image called "A Tasty Read" means a lot to me, since it was my very first image that I owned from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection. Isn't she just too cute? I love her dearly.
It's not that I can't take decisions on my own but sometimes I would ask hubby which colours would fit best for an image. I affectionately call him "my creative director", which makes him feel very important and makes him also proud. So this time he said that he would like this cute little girl to have blond hair. So his wish was my command. *lol*
For that image I have chosen the text "Once upon a time", which probably is exactly what is written in her book.

Elmit has toothache

Memosheet Box

Hello everyone!

Here I am again. Today is my turn to post on The Digi Bells DT Blog.
Usually I don't make many projects using cardboard because I am always afraid that I won't succeed... Buuuuuut yesterday I was brave enough to experiment and I am soooo happy that I didn't give up. Eventhough it took me a long time, I have to say that I had GREAT fun. And this project is not even difficult to make (like everything, if you know once how it works).
I am very happy with the result and I hope you like it too. Let's see who will be the lucky receiver. Who knows, maybe I keep it also for myself... *lol*

I found the tutorial HERE. Unfortunately it's written only in german but I think you should be able to follow the instructions by just looking at the pictures.

For my Memosheet Box I have used one of Elisabeth Bell's adorable Digi Stamp called "Pat-a-cake". I love that image with all my heart and I can see all the love Elisabeth has put into it. You can find this Digi Stamp and many more in her Digital Collection Gallery.

It's Challenge time!

Hello everybody and happy Monday!

Isn't it great to start a new week with a brand-new challenge? Welcome to the "Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog".
This blog will be a once a month challenge. Means no stress and hopefully lot's of fun!
We will not present you "normal" cards but inspiring little pieces of art. Hopefully you will become a follower and join us each month. We would love to see your fabulous creations! Of course there will be also lots of great prices to win each month. You find all the details and rules on how to participate on our Challenge Blog.

This months' Challenge theme is to create a 3x3 Note Card Tote/Box. You can find the tutorial here. This is such an easy and fun project and apart from that, a wonderful gift. :-)
On the lid of my box, I have used one of Elisabeth Bell's adorable Digital Stamp called "Little Rapunzel" which you can find in her Digital Collection Gallery. Both texts and heart stamp are from Whiff of Joy.

Something very important before I forget... My respect to Janiel (our Team Leader) and Lynda (our Co-Team Leader) for all their time and effort they put to create this awesome new Challenge Blog. You are terrific! And last but not least my deepest thanks to our wonderful artist and amazing friend Elisabeth because without her adorable and ingenious designs we couldn't make such fantastic projects!!!

Release Digi Bells October image and Blog Hop 2010

Hello everybody and welcome to our first-ever blog hop!

Now THE day has finally come. This week has gone by so fast and all Digi Bells DT/GDT Sisters have been busy working on the new, cute October image designed by the very talented and lovely Elisabeth Bell.

I think you will really enjoy this hop. Be aware that this is going to be a loooong post, so first prepare yourself a nice cup of coffee, chocolate or whatever and then enjoy some wonderful creations that the Digi Bells Sisters have made to introduce the new October Digi image.

For today's release, I have made a so called "Countdown-Easel-Card" and thought that a "Snowflake-Ornament" would perfectly fit together. I did both projects for the first time and had great fun. Instructions for these two projects are HERE.

I am surprised how fast time is flying. Yes, sometimes it's even scarying me. ;-)

Bell Horses - Li'l Princess Tu-tu

Hello my dear blogging friends

How are you? Hopefully all is fine with you. It's been again a long time since I last posted. I very much missed it. The reason for my absence was, that my hubby and I have been on vacation.
We were in Italy, at the very famous "Cinque Terre", which belongs to the World Heritage Site. Ohhh my, this was just a perfect week: Good food, very nice people, beautiful weather and a great tour group. My brother and my sister-in-law made us this gift. They won a voucher in a competition and couldn't go there, so they asked us whether or not we would be interested. Of course we accepted. Can you imagine, 1 week of vacation and everything was paid. We were truly blessed!!
Here some pictures of this wonderful area.

After such a long absence, I have of course also a card to show you. It was my Sisters' Birthday on the 27th September, so I made this card, using one of Elisabeth Bells' adorable image called "Bell Horses - Lil'Princess Tu-tu". This cute little girl is really a princess! You can find her and many more images in Elisabeth Bells' Digital Collection HERE. For some reason it took me hours, until I had this card finished (until 2.30 in the morning). Maybe because I wanted it to look perfect for my beloved Sister. Lucky me, she liked my card veeery much. :-) I hope you like it too.

NEW Elisabeth Bell Digi - Release Day

Hello everybody

It's me again. I have been very busy blogging and crafting these days, due to the release of the new September Digi of Elisabeth Bell. Ohhhh I am so excited, the waiting is now finally over. ;-) Once more Elisabeth Bell did a fantastic job on designing this adorable image which is called "Catch of the day". Isn't that girl a cutie pie? Didn't I tell you it was worth to wait all these days?
I love that image a lot and had great fun colouring it with my Copic Sketch Markers. The story behind the image is that she is based on a photo that Elisabeth took of her 2 year old, Eden, who was sitting in her toy shopping cart. How sweet is that???

Since little Eden is definitely in shopping mode, instead of making a card, I thought to make a shopping bag and put the text "shopping girl", which fits perfectly. Creative me. *lol*

Hello everybody

I am happy it's finally the weekend. Today I would like to show you my card using an In2Stamps image called "Cute Littlebell" from their Elmit & Littlebell Collection. Isn't she just cute with her friend "Mr. Caterpillar"? For my card I have used this lovely swirl-embossed Design Paper, which I had for years and used for the first time. I like it a lot, since it gives a wonderful effect.

I have coloured the image with these Copic Sketch Markers.

Today I have some wonderful news to share with you. This morning I went on Elisabeth Bell's blog and what did I see? I was one of the lucky 8 selected ladies to be on the new Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection Design Team. Ohhh my, I still can't believe it. Could someone pinch me, please?
I would like to thank everybody who crossed their fingers and who congratulated me. Today a dream has come true and I'm doing the happy dance already the whole day. *lol*
Above all I would like to thank Elisabeth for giving me this opportunity. I really feel honored and am looking forward to work with her and the other talented ladies.

Elisabeth Bell DT-Call

Hello everybody

I hope all is fine with you. Hubby and I are still on vacation right now but we actually came home yesterday and are enjoying the rest of it being at home. Ohhhh, "fortunately" we came home yesterday because I saw that a friend of mine sent me an e-mail saying, that Elisabeth Bell is holding a DT Call for her new Digital Stamp Collection and that the Call ends TODAY. I would have gone mad if I would have missed it. Not only her designs she is creating for companies such as Whiff of Joy, Ladybug and Friends and many more are wonderful, also Elisabeth herself is a wonderful person. So when I read all of this, I straight away had to sit down and make a card. Oh my, I was in such a hurry and am entering my card (again) at the very last minute. *lol* So keep my fingers very, very crossed.

Herefore I have used one of my favourite stamps called "Daisy". This girl is just too cute.
I have coloured her with my beloved Copic Sketch Markers, have used a ribbon through the "Flower Shape" which is from Spellbinders Nestabilities, some Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, "Cotton Candy" Stickles, some Pearls and the text which is from Whiff of Joy. I made the sky, using a "cloud-template" and Chalks. That's it. Well, today is Friday the 13th AND our 6th Wedding Anniversary. So hopefully all of this and this cutie pie will bring me luck! :-)

Yeeppii, next week I will be on vacation. So one of my projects that I wanted to finish was my card for Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge. This weeks' theme was "ON THE DARK SIDE". I have chosen one of my favourite images called "Bodacious Bev", which is from the new "Gothik Angelz Collection". I love all these sexy girls. Congratulations to Kenny, the BIG Master, for having designed these beauties. :-) I had such a great fun colouring this image and I can't wait to start with the next one. Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge #3

Ohhhh, how time flies. It's again time to enter my card for Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge, which ends at 8 PM (UK time). This time I'm a couple of hours earlier with my entry than last week. Woohooo, I'm making progress! *lol*

Elmit with Lollypop

Hello everybody

How are you today? Hopefully fine.
Usually I am using my blog to post my cards, which I also will do today but first I would like to show you a video that I found on Youtube. I love to listen to the radio and recently heard a song but didn't know the title, so I surfed on Google and fortunately found it. It's called "Another way to die" from the band DISTURBED. I know that time is very precious to all of us but maybe you find some minutes to listen to it HERE. The pictures in combination with the lyrics are terrific and made me speechless. Unfortunately I know that these things are happening but when I looked at those pictures, it reminded me again what irreparable damage we humans do to our world. So this video made me very angry, sad and thoughtful.

Moving on to my newest card. I have used this gorgeous In2Stamps image called "Elmit with Lollypop" from the Elmit and Littlebell Collection. I love the happy face of Elmit and his very naughty friend "Mr. Caterpillar". I had so much pleasure colouring this stamp. Again I am entering my card over at "Sketch Saturday". Maybe once in my lifetime, "Mr.Random.com" will be nice and select me. I keep my fingers crossed.

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge #2 and a birthday card

Hello everybody

Today there is a competition in cliff diving, so my hubby went there with 2 friends (as viewer, not as participant), so I was the whole day alone. Again I planned to do a lot of things but decided then to have an "easy" day. ;-) Today is the last day to enter the Kenny K's Krafty Girls Challenge. Ohhh my, I don't know what I am doing wrong but I am always entering my cards at the very last minute. Well, but I am happy that I still managed to participate this week. For this week, Donna provided this wonderful sketch. Love it.

For my card I have used the image called "Star". The reason why I have chosen this image was, that on the online-shop of Kenny, he has uploaded an image of himself playing the guitar. I went then on the homepage of the band where he's playing called "Almost Famous". Ohhh my, I really love their music. Cooooool!
After a long time, I made again an Easel Card. These type of cards are so much fun. In front of the card I put the name of the band, using the same font as they have. So when you open the card it says Almost Famous, you rock! I know, sometimes I am really creative. *lol*
When I saw some videos of this band on youtube, I had to say that these guys really rock. :-)

Then I have another Kenny K card to show you using the image called "Soccer". It recently was my hubby's birthday and I bought him a fan-shirt from the Soccer Team he loves so much. It's an Italian Team called "Juventus Turin". On the image I made stripes on the shirt and used the same colours as the Team uses. Hubby was over the moon when he opened the gift and the card, so my mission was completed. ;-)

And for this image I have used these Copic Sketch Markers.

I think after this posting everybody knows that my favourite colour is blue. Sorry! But I promise that my next card will look different. ;-)

Queens Cutie

Hello everybody

I hope all is fine with you and that you had a good start into the new week.
Ohhh my, I know I shouldn't complain but it is so hot here. I mean I am glad that the sun is shining and that summer finally came... BUUUUT, it is definitely too hot for me with 33°. :-( We had 29° yesterday in our apartment and no chance to cool it down. :-( One advantage with that heat is, that I definitely have no appetite. So I should automatically loose weight. He he

I managed to make a card yesterday. Eventhough I was melting like cheese, I still sat down and did a card for the first Kenny K's krafty girlz challenge blog. The theme over there is to use PASTELS. I have used the image called "Queens Cutie" from the Glam Gang-Collection. This girl is just too cute and I had soooo much fun to colour her.
My congratulations to Kenny for designing these images. He definitely did a great job!!! You can buy his Digistamps here.

Sorry for my long absence. I have been soo busy these days that I didn't even found the time to do what I most like, "crafting". :-(

New Friends

Hello everybody

I hope all is fine with you and that the sun is also shining where you live. Today after many days of cloud and rain, it's finally sunny. I just quickly want to post this card and then I'm off. ;-)

A friend of mine is studying medicine and starts with her exams next Monday. Ohhh my, I definitely don't want to be in her shoes... Her exams will last until mid of September. Poor her. Well, but if everything goes well (and I am very confident) I will have a "doctor" as friend. How cool! *lol*
A few weeks ago, my hubby also had an exam and guess what... "Tilda" and I really brought him good luck. He passed both exams with the grade 5.9 and 5.5. In Switzerland 6 is the highest. I don't have to tell you how proud I was.
Since I was successful with my card and everything went well, I thought to make a card for my friend too. Maybe it also brings her luck. ;-) She loves red and green, so this is my result. I am very happy with the result and hope she will like it as well. Herefore I have used this adorable image called "New Friends" designed by the very talented Elisabeth Bell for SCACD.
Isn't this little girl a cutie? She is too lovely and I had so much fun to colour her.
I am entering my card for the challenges "Stampavie and more" and "Everybody-Art-Challenge" with the theme "summer".

Ratcliffe's Jump Of Joy

Hello everybody

I hope all is fine with you and that you had a good start into the new week. Today I am happy to show you my new card using an In2Stamps image called "Ratcliffe's Jump Of Joy" from their new April Releases Collection. You can buy their stamps from the In2Stamps online-store.
To give this image an even more masculine touch, I have used more darker colours, used an edge distresser and didn't use any flowers, which was hard to me. *lol*
For the round shape around the image, I first cut a circle and used then the corner of a Martha Stewart Punch. This is done very easy and quickly and looks awesome.

Sophia and her rocking horse

Hello everybody

I am so excited because today I would like to show you my card using an In2Stamps image called "Sophia and her rocking horse" from their new April Releases Collection. You can purchase this stamp from the In2stamps on-line store.
When I first saw this stamp, I straight away fell in love with it and I knew that I was going to make my first card from this collection with this image. Isn't Sophia just a beauty? And even her horse looks so pretty. *lol*
Once again, the illustrator Luc Vincent did a great job on designing these images!!
To make more publicity for these stamps, I went on "blog land" and was looking in which challenges I could enter my card. By chance I arrived on "Sketch Saturday" and found a sketch that I liked very much. For me it's much easier to make a card when I know in advance which sketch I want to use. So I followed this sketch and am entering now my card there. Maybe I am also lucky and win something. Keep fingers crossed. ;-)
The text I saw somewhere on the Internet and found it funny and suitable for this image. So I wrote it on the computer, printed it out, coloured the edges with dark brown chalk and placed it with 3D-Foam.

Caterpillar Kisses

Hello everybody

Today I would like to show you my newest card using the stamp called "Caterpillar Kisses" from the Baby Collection of In2Stamps. This image is so adorable and I love "Mr. Caterpillar". He is just too cute! ;-)
I cut the image and used 3D-Foam. The brown shape is made with a Spellbinders Nestabilities Die called "Large Octagons". I just cut out a smaller shape in white cardstock and for the "special touch" I have used then a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder "Perfectly Paisley", which looks awesome. I saw this on someone elses blog and found it a brilliant idea. After a long time I have finally used my Cuttlebug Folders again.

Hello everybody

In my previous posting I mentioned that I will be going to London tomorrow until Saturday. Well, since I won't be crafting during that time, I wanted to do some work in advance, so that I can show you something for this week. *lol*
Marco started half a year ago with an IT-Course and this morning he had the exam. Ohhhh my, I have never seen him so nervous before. Poor hubby. :-(
Yesterday evening I started doing a card for him to wish him good luck and ended up with these cute Magnolia images. I am entering my card at "Just Magnolia Challenges". Bev made this beautiful and easy (I love simple) sketch. Because of the images that I had already coloured, I had to flip the sketch. I hope that nevertheless qualifies for a chance to win. :-)
Ohhhh, I don't have to tell you how much hubby was smiling when he got my "good luck-card" and I think it helped. He told me after the exam that he had quite a good feeling. In a few weeks he will know the result. Until then I keep fingers crossed.

Hello everybody

It's raining since Friday evening, so I have a good excuse to stay at home and craft. *lol* That means in other words, that I have again a card to show you.
Next Wednesday to Saturday, Marco and I will be going to London with our best man and his family. Ohhhhh, I am so excited. Last time I was in London, is 13 years ago. Ohhhh my, how time flies.
OK, back to my card. I have used the image called "Just Relax" from the Baby Collection of In2Stamps. Isn't this image just adorable? Whenever I look at it, it makes me smile. In2Stamps illustrator Luc Vincent did a great job on designing these images!!

I can't believe how fast April was over. So it's time again for a new monthly challenge over at In2Stamps. This time the challenge was to follow a sketch that Isabelle has provided. For my card I have used the image "Flower Girl", which is from the Baby Collection. I have again coloured this image using my Copic Sketch Markers as well as my new atyouSpica-Glitter Markers to set some accents. Unfortunately you can't see the glitter effects very well on the picture.

Hello everybody and happy Saturday!

One more day and my vacation will be over. Never mind! I had a wonderful, relaxing and sunny week with lots of time to craft. So what else do I want?!

Thursday was my Sister-in-Law's 40th Birthday. For this special event I wanted to make a "special card" for her and have therefore chosen one of my new Magnolia's. I immediately fell in love with this Spellcaster-Tilda from the Fairytale Collection and thought that she would fit perfectly, together with the text, which is from the latest April-Kit "Scheherazade 1001 Nights" from Whiff of Joy. For the first time I have also used my new "atyouSpica-Glitter Markers". Unfortunately you can't see it very well on the pictures but believe me, they are fantastic.
I saw over at "Just Magnolia-Challenges" that the theme for this week is "Everything Goes". Ohhhh lucky me, so I can enter my card there. ;-)

I hope all is fine with you. This week I am on vacation, so I have plenty of time to relax, to craft and for other things I want to do. ;-)
Today I would like to show you a card that I did for my Sister's best friend who gave birth to a baby boy a long time ago. I didn't go for the traditional colour "blue" for boys, since she doesn't like this colour. Never mind! So I went for yellow, orange and green, which she loooooves. ;-)
For this card I have chosen this very cute stamp of Motivet called "Doraline with baby carriage". Isn't this image just adorable?

Stempelmesse-Süd 2010

Hello everybody and happy Tuesday!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a good start into the new week. The weekend was over too quickly but beaaaaaaaautiful. My Mum, my Sister and I went to Stuttgart (Germany) for the craft exhibition "Stempelmesse-Süd".
We started our journey on Saturday. Our train left on 7.10 a.m. and we arrived at Stuttgart main station 10.06 a.m. There we had to take another train which brought us to "Korntal", where the exhibition took place and where our hotel was.
We first went to our hotel, left there our luggages and went then to the exhibition. It was about 11.30 a.m. when we finally arrived. Ohhhh my, there were so many people. We first went to the booth of Magnolia. I was hoping to find the complete "FairyTale Collection" but didn't. Never mind, I nevertheless spent enough money. ;-) Well, I don't smoke, drink etc., so I can afford it. *rofl*
After we finished shopping at Magnolia, we straight away moved on to Whiff of Joy, where we said hello to the very cheerful and amiable Katharina and her friendly friend and helper Yvonne. It was Katharina's birthday, so I made a little box for her and filled it with chocolate and some embellishments.
Since my Sister is a Guest-DT for Whiff of Joy, Katharina asked her whether she would like to give a demonstration of her coloration. Of course my Sister didn't had to think about it and immediately agreed. Woohoooo, what an honour. So she brought all her Copics and coloured some images on Saturday and Sunday.

Ohhhhh my, the company "Holtz GmbH" was also there for the first time. "Holtz" is Copic Distributor for Europe, North-Africa and Middle East. They had two talented and very amusing dutch ladies, "Diny Sprakel" together with her friend "Annie", giving demonstration on how to colour with Copics. Thank you ladies for your inspiration! You were terrific! *wave*
And of course the company had the whole range of Copic Markers, so this booth was very dangerous for us. *lol*

At the evening we went to a Pizzeria and had a delicious dinner with a real italian waiter. Ohhh my, this guy was just too funny. After dinner we wanted to take the bus but were not sure if and when a bus would drive home to our hotel. The owner of the restaurant, also italian, heard this and immediately said: "Don't worry about the bus, my son (he was about 19 years old) will drive you to the hotel. He has to go home anyway." ;-) So the son brought us safely back to our hotel. We were amazed and grateful by so much kindness. Fantastic people!

Sunday morning we first had breakfast, checked out the hotel and went with our luggages to the exhibition. Fortunately there were no longer so many people as the day before. Before the exhibition ended, at 5.00 p.m., we went to everybody we knew to say "good bye" and started our trip back home. Everything went smoothly so I arrived home at 9.45 p.m. exhausted. But I had a wonderful weekend with my beloved Mum and Sister, with lots of positive impressions and with even more yummi goodies that I bought.

A BIG "thank you" goes to Katharina for her kindness and everything she did. *wave* It was great to see you again!! :-)

It's already Thursday, my free day, so I have again a card to show you. This time I have used an "older" image called "Angel Boy" from the Baby Collection from In2Stamps. This image is just too cute, like all their images by the way. ;-)
I interpret this stamp as "Cupid with Arrows", so I stamped "love" on the plate, which I thought would fit perfectly. To point this up, I have used my new Martha Stewart Crafts Punch Corner/Border Set "Hearts".

Sad Littlebell

Hello everybody and happy Thursday

Today I have again my free day from working, so I would like to present you a new card. Herefore I have used the stamp called "Sad Littlebell" from the Elmit and Littlebell Collection of In2Stamps. Ohhh, when I look at her she also makes me sad... She is totally adorable, together with her little friend "Mr. Caterpillar", who tries to cheer her up.
As you can see, I have again used lots of stickles. I just ask myself how I could exist before I had them all. *lol* They are just terrific and give such a wonderful touch to the cards.
I was so happy when I realized that I didn't had to create again a text on the computer, because I had already this stamp, that matches perfectly to the image. Lucky me. ;-)

Elmit in tomato can

Hello everybody

I hope all is fine with you and you had a wonderful and relaxing Easter break.
These days have just gone by very quickly but I still have today off. That means another day crafting. Yeeppiiii
Yesterday I saw my Sister and guess what I got from her... She gave me her green/black card "Elmit with Lollipop" where she won the March Challenge over at In2Stamps Challenges Blog. I could have huged her 24 hours. *lol* This card is absolutely terrific and I am so happy that it is mine now. :-) It will receive a special place, a place on my craft desk, so whenever I look at it, I get inspired.
For today's card I have chosen the stamp "Elmit in tomato can" from the Elmit and Littlebell Collection of In2Stamps. Ohhhh my, this stamp is just too gorgeous. I had great fun colouring this image.
For the first time I have tried this so called "faux stitching". The result looks awesome. I definitely have to do it some day again.
I used also "Flower soft", so it looks like Elmit is sitting in moss. :-)
Since I unfortunately never have the appropriate text, I had to help myself and created this text on the computer and printed it out. ;-)

Unfortunately the weekend is already over but I managed to make a new card. Yeeppiii
Yesterday I was in the right mood to experiment, so I tried to make a so called "Joy-Fold Card". The tutorial I found here. It took me quite a while until I had it finished but I nevertheless had great fun.
This time I have chosen the stamp called "Littlebell taking a stroll" from the Elmit and Littlebell Collection of In2Stamps. I totally fell in love with my little green friend but since he doesn't have a real name, I just call him now "Mr. Caterpillar". *lol*
For the inside I stamped him once more and placed the text like he would say: "Just me, thinking of you". ;-)

Hello everybody

Yeeeaahhh, it's finally weekend. I am so happy. Hopefully I will have time to craft a lot. ;-)

I realized that there are some cards that I haven't showed yet, so I thought I would show them all in one post.

This Magnolia Easel-Card I did for the birthday of my friend Monika. Ohhhh, she totally freaked out. I am happy she liked it. :-)

This "belated" Birthday card was sent to Jay Jay. I tried to use her favourite colours and it seems that I was successful. ;-)

Well, last but not least, I would like to show you the birthday card that I did for my beloved Dad, who celebrated his Birthday on March, 19th. My Sister and her boyfriend of course also came and we all had such a wonderful evening with lots of delicious food, made by my Mum, and lots of laughter.
For this card I have used this adorable Oakley from Whiff of Joy.

Ok, I think I am definitely ready now to go to sleep. :-)

Relaxing Elmit

Hello everybody

How are you today? Hopefully fine.
Instead of going early to bed, I sat down and wanted to finish my card, so that today I can show you a new In2Stamps DT card. I just couldn't resist.
This time I used one of the adorable stamps of the "Elmit & Littlebell Collection". Isn't Elmit just cute? I especially fell in love with the Caterpillar. He is just too funny! ;-)
I have found this type of shape card on someone's blog (can't remember whose) and also wanted to give it a try. I like to experiment.
Have I already said today that I adore my MS-Punches? *lol* These ladybuges are so lovely!

Hello everybody

I hope you are doing fine and enjoy the weekend. Today I am very happy to show you a new card, using this adorable stamp called "Tender Bear Kisses" from the Cute Animals Collection of In2Stamps. I love, love, loooooove this image!
Just by looking at the materials I used, it seems like a "simple" card but I still had a long time until I could decide how to colour it, which papers to use etc.
I think I have to work on my efficiency. *lol*

Hello everybody

Yeeppiiii, I received my In2Stamps DT package, containing the new releases "Elmit & Littlebell Collection" and "Cute Animals Collection". Of course I immediately had to go into production! ;-)
It was hard for me to decide with which image to start. They are all gorgeous. Well, I started with the elephant "Kibo". Isn't he just too cute?
When I first saw this image, I straight away knew which text I would use. I think it fits perfect, also in combination with the real button on his shirt. *lol*
Unfortunately I didn't had this text as a stamp, so I wrote it myself with the help of a template.
For the flower I have used DG3 Art Gel from JudiKins, to give it a little 3D-Effect.

Mice Happiness the 2nd

Hello everybody!

How are you today? I hope you are doing fine. Was it also snowing where you live? I almost had a heart attack when I woke up on Saturday and saw, that everything was white again. I am definitely fed up with winter and want finally spring. It really starts to drive me nuts. *lol*
I inked up this In2Stamps image called "Mice Happiness", which is from the previous collection called "Birthday Collection". Eventhough it is an "older" one, I still very much love it. And exactly with this image I did my first In2Stamps Design Team Card so I have a special relation to it. :-) I was happy when I realized that I had the perfect text for that stamp.
Ohhh, doesn't the heart border around the image look lovely? Our Design Team Member Norma has posted a fantastic tutorial on her blog. You can find it here. I first was afraid that I wouldn't be able to make it but honestly it's very easy.

I hope all is fine with you and that you had a good start of the new week. On Friday I celebrated my birthday, together with Marco and my family. I had such a fantastic day and received lots of wonderful gifts, for example 4 sets of these new Martha Stewart punches, where you can also punch the corners. Ohhhh, I love them soooo much that I straight away had to use one of it. The result is just stunning. OMG, I could fill a whole room with MS-Punches and Scrapbook-Paper. I know I am terribly addicted. *lol*

Ohhhh, I am sooo excited... In2Stamps started yesterday the first sneak peek of their new collections "Elmit & Littlebell", plus "Cute Animals". For 10 days, you will get to see images. Every day 1 new stamp. The first image showing "Elmit with lollipop" and his little friend the naughty caterpillar, designed by the talented belgian Illustrator Luc Vincent, is soooo funny. I just love it!! So stay tuned and visit the In2Stamps blog if you are curious to see what comes next. *lol* It's definitely worth!

Today I would like to show a card, using another In2Stamps image named "Flower Bunny" from the Get Well Collection. This stamp brings so much joy and is so versatile. As you maybe have realized, I am really addicted to these Ranger Stickles, so I had to put them on the outside parts of the rose. *lol* Seeing that Valentines day will be soon, I have chosen the text "love", to go with this adorable image.

Hello everybody

I hope all is fine with you and that you are enjoying the weekend. My Mum, my Sister and I came together on Friday to craft. We had such a wonderful evening! I wanted to make something different, so I have followed this great tutorial on a gift/pocket card that I found here. It's very easy and done quickly. I have used this adorable stamp "Mommy's caring" from the "Get Well Collection" of In2Stamps. In the little box I put a pack of handkerchief's, plus a lip balm.
This stamp is absolutely my favourite one. Unfortunately I was often sick as a child, so this image reminds me of my Mum who always affectionately looked after me. In love with Froggy

Hello everybody

It's me again... I am surprised by myself how creative I am these days.
Yesterday I told you that my Mum, my Sister and I came together to craft. We had such a blast and the Pizza was delicious as always. I ate so much that I felt like an inflated hamster. Well, I said to myself: "Serves you right!". *lol*
"The enemy" that I mentioned yesterday, was my beloved Sister... That's why I couldn't post my card that I did for her. She is absolutely addicted to Froggy's, so when I first saw this adorable stamp called "Princess Ava" from "The Greeting Farm", I knew that I had to buy it.
I went to bed toooooo late (1.30 a.m.) because I wanted to finish this card so that I can hand it out to her and see her reaction. ;-)
It was fantastic, I think she took so much pleasure in this card. When I went through my clear stamps with sentiments, I straight away knew which one would perfectly fit. I have chosen this one to let her know that I will always love her, which I hope she knows already. :-)

Magnolia and Greeting Farm-Card

Hello everybody!

Ohhhh, today I can say again: "Thank God it's Friday". *lol*
Now I finally make it to show 2 cards that I made a couple of weeks ago. I'm sooo behind... Shame on me.

My hubby and I visited my Sister and her boyfriend, while they were on vacation. So these two cards are the result of our craft session. ;-)
My Sister-in-law was my secret santa and I have received a stunning necklace from Swarovski. It is such a beautiful one, that I could wear it 24 hours.
And Marco received from his brother-in-law a book with guitar sheet music, plus a voucher to tape a song in a sound studio. Wooooww, how great is that?

This card I made for no one specific. I just finally wanted to use this wonderful "Rain-stamp" from the Miss Anya Collection of The Greeting Farm. I have so much fun to create these Easel cards, plus they are very easy.

Tonight, my Mum, my Sister and I will meet to craft together. Ohhhh, and we will sure have again homemade Pizza by our Mum. *yummi*

How are you? I hope everything is fine out there. Today I would like to show you my card that I did, using the stamp called "Here I am" from the new Baby Collection of In2Stamps. I have to say that the illustrator Luc Vincent did a great job. These images are so adorable.
I realized that I unfortunately don't have a big variety of stamps with sentiments, so I had to improvise. I mean the text "A Special Delivery" fit's perfect to the image but I had to write it with my own handwriting.
I am entering this card for the challenge "Stamp with fun". Their theme for this week is "Baby".

Surprise Cake

Hello everybody

Today I would like to show you a so called "Side Step Card" that I did, using the image from In2Stamps called "Surprise Cake" from the Birthday Collection . This is such a cute and cheerful stamp. I also wanted to decorate the small "step's" on the right side and thought that the "Birthday Ornaments" would perfectly fit. So I cut out the balloons and glued it with double sided tape, but for the cake and the candy, I have used 3D Foam tape. I took the Strawberry Stamp from Whiff of Joy and stamped it several times on the white Cardstock. So I ended up having my own Design Paper. ;-)
I had so much fun colouring these adorable stamps. Have you seen the new "Baby Collection" and "Get Well Collection" from In2Stamps? They are just terrific. WoJ - Guest Designer Call

Hello everybody

My Sister called last Saturday and asked me, if I have already seen Katharina's latest posting on the Guest Designer Call?
There are sooo many talented ladies out there but my Sister encouraged me to participate and here I am. You never know what happens so why not trying? I tell you, I am soooo excited. Keep fingers crossed.

It took me hours until I had my card finished, but I am still on time. ;-)
I am a big fan of stamped scenes but don't often do it because it always takes so long. This time I couldn't resist and had to do a "little" masked card. Well, it nevertheless took me quite a while but I am very happy with the result. I have chosen the stamps called "Willow with Gingerbread Heart", "Oakley with Christmas Bauble" and "Rose Swing". The first two are from the "Winter Collection 2009" and the Rose Swing is from the "Wedding and Baby Collection". I wanted to make something romantic and realized that these stamps would fit perfect. Instead of the Christmas Bauble, I thought that Oakley could take a heart out of the box and make Willow a proposal of marriage, that's why I have written "I do". As you can see, I was very imaginative! *lol*

The challenge was to follow a sketch, that Katharina made. It's a terrific sketch and I will for sure use it again!

Hello everybody

I made so many cards within the last days, that I want to post a couple of them, otherwise I will be always delayed. So this is going to be a long posting. There are lots of unused stamps (shame on me), so I finally wanted to use one of the adorable stamps designed by the very talented Elisabeth Bell. This first card I did for my Mum's Birthday, which was yesterday. We all had dinner together and enjoyed everybody's company. It was wonderful. Fortunately my Mum liked my Sister's card and mine very much. She said that she received already sooo many cards from us, that she has to start a new binder to file them all. *lol*

And this card I did with no special reason, so I still don't know who's going to be the lucky recipient. ;-) Herefore I have used my new punches. One is from Martha Stewart called "Deep Edger Flower Bed" which is a HUGE stamp and the other one is from EK Success called "Whale of a Punch - Photo Corner Fancy".

This last card that I would like to show you for today means a lot to me... One of my two uncle's (brother of my Mum) who live in Australia, passed away on January 5th. We all are still very sad and I know that only time will heal the pain. As far as i am concerned I had the desire to make a card that I am dedicating to my beloved uncle. When my husband and I got married, we used this poem, which is one of my favourite and is giving me a lot of consolation these days.

Pirate B-Day Party

Tuesdays and Thursdays I don't work, so yesterday I wanted to benefit from the free time and prepare my next posting for the Design Team of In2Stamps. I wanted to try something different and made an easel card that I have seen now on so many blogs. Ohhhh, I was surprised when I realized how easy that was. For my card I have used the stamp called "Pirate B-Day Party" from the Birthday Collection. This time I coloured the cute mice in grey, which I also like very much. I think it is difficult for almost everybody to make cards for boy/man but this is not a problem anymore with such a great stamp, designed by the belgian illustrator Luc Vincent. To give it even a more "male touch", I necessarily had to use a skull charm. Now I finally had the perfect occasion. ;-)

A Micey Gift

I know it's been a couple of days since my last posting but I have a good "excuse"... I was crafting like crazy! *lol* Well, but I know that it doesn't make sense if I only craft but don't post my creations. ;-) That's why I finally had to sit down and make my next posting. Mice Happiness

I am very excited and proud, because this is my first DT Card ever. Herefore I have chosen this adorable stamp called "Mice Happiness" from the new Birthday Collection, designed by the very talented illustrator Luc Vincent. This image is so heartbreaking. I immediately fell in love and every time I look at it I wish, that I would have met my Grandpa.

Some exciting News

Hello everybody

A couple of weeks ago I read on Claudia's Blog that there is a new Belgian stamp business called "In2Stamps", who are looking for Design Team Members. Since they were also searching for someone to represent Switzerland, I thought that this is the chance for me to participate. Well, of course I sent Wendy & Bruno an e-mail saying, that I would love to be part of the "family". I would actually see myself as a patient person but here I really got excited and after some weeks, I couldn't resist anymore and had to write them to see, if they made any decision.
A few days later, I have received an e-mail from Wendy & Bruno, asking me to be their DT Member for Switzerland. YEEEAH! Of course I didn't had to think about my answer and immediately said YES! I felt like I won in the lottery. The first time I took place on a DT Call and they have chosen me. I am so happy and would like to thank both once more for giving me this opportunity!

I have already lots of ideas, so now I only have to wait until the beautiful new Birthday Collection-Stamps arrive. Hopefully they will come next week, because then I will have vacation and a lot of time. *lol*

Just Magnolia - Week 32

This week the challenge at "Just Magnolia" is to use Masking on the project. I love masking, so it was clear that I would participate! Initially I wanted to do just a "small" masking project, but ended up doing a whole scene with 8 different stamps. *lol* Ohhhh boy, it took me hours to finish it but I am happy with the result and had great fun doing it. For the light yellow background I have used chalks and then I stamped some red flowers... Tataaa, I had the perfect wallpaper. ;-)

Now that I have received my new Whiff of Joy Winter-Stamps, I immediately had to use them. Ohhhhh, my heart is mealting like cheese, whenever I look at them. Each stamp is a masterpiece and sooo gorgeous. I straight away fell in love with the festive Winter Willow. Isn't she a real beauty?

I have used one of the crocheted flowers that my Mum did. Isn't it adorable? I am really happy that she can do them. It would probably take me weeks or even longer, to learn how to make them. *lol*

Hello everybody

You probably remember that I am soon going to a Christmas Market to sell my cards. Well, I want to offer many different themes, such as for "Mothers Day" and did therefore this card. Unfortunately I didn't had a stamp saying "Mothers Day" but "Love" is also suitable. :-)
For the first time I have used my new, so called "Diamante Ribbon Sliders". I bought them at The Hobbyhouse and they come in various shapes. Aren't they adorable?

Last Friday my Mum, my Sister and I went again to our craft room. We had such a nice evening together. I brought my new Magnolia Christmas Stamps, so that my Mum and my Sister could make imprints. This angel Tilda is so cute. I immediately fell in love with her, so I had to make a card with it. Ohhhhh, and I had to use my new Martha Stewart border punch. This is such a great one!

Another Christmas card

Hello everybody

Last Friday, my Mum, my Sister and I went to our craftroom that we rent. The procedure of such an evening is usually the following: We first eat the BEST Pizza (homemade by my Mum), chat a lot and then finally do some crafting. OK, it might not always be a productive reunion, but we always have fun and enjoy each others company. And for me, this is the most important.
My Sister brought her stamps, so I did lots of imprints of the Whiff of Joy stamps which I don't have, such as the Winter Collection from last year. During the last Winter, my hubby and I were in Australia, that's why I didn't buy any stamps.

The image that I used for this card is called "Lizzie with Muff" and became one of my favourite stamps. The background papers I received from my Sister and I have to say, that I very much like the colour combination. Something different than the traditional red/green combination. *lol*
From my stamping friend Monika, I have received this beautiful lace. It comes originally from St. Gallen (a city and canton in Switzerland) and is very well known and expensive. And the text is from my Justrite Stamps.

In the stamping group "Stempelmiezen" where I am, my friend Alex organized a Swiss Craft Meeting. So I went there last Friday and met 3 other Ladies from the same Group. We stamped a lot, ate together and did some shopping in her office. We had so much fun, unfortunately the day went over too quickly.
This is the card I finished there. The snowman image is soo cute. The stamp is from Darcies, as well as the background-paper. I have coloured the image with copics. The snowflake border is made with an EK Success punch.

On this card I have used this adorable image from Motivet Rubberstamps. The edges I did on my own. I just used a corner rounder punch to make it more elegant and stamped a snowflake, so it didn't look so "naked". *lol*
For the white strip with stars, I used a cuttlebug folder. And the round circle is made with my new Justrite Stamps. I just love them and would never again give them away. They are so easy, versatile and so fun to use.

This image, also from Motivet Rubberstamps, I wanted to use a long time ago and now I finally made it. Isn't Dexter cute?
The snowflake charm I bought at embellishments.de and the punched border I did this time with a Fiskars punch.

Today I am going to make a small posting. For the Group "Stempelmiezen", I had to do a card with the theme "At the beach". Well, this is the card that I did for Tina. I was so happy when she said that I hit the mark with it. :-)
It was quite difficult for me to make a card on this "small" format. Usually I work on square cards.
Herefore I have used this older Magnolia image, which fits perfectly. I also put some blue stickles, so at the end I had a really sparkling mermaid. *lol*

A gift for you

It's me again. I made a card Sunday evening and wanted to post it but had to wait, because I was sure that the "enemy" would follow my blog. ;-)) Well, yesterday I got an e-mail from my stamping friend Monika saying, that she has received my envelope and gift. My present just contained a few charms and a "chain", so that she can hang up charms onto her cards. Lucky me, that she liked my surprise. ;-)

This Magnolia image is one of the first ones that I coloured with my copics. I kept the coloured image in a binder for months and now I finally found the right occasion to make a card with it.
The border is an EK Success punch and the brown design paper is from "The sweet matstack" from DCWV.

A big package has arrived

Last Tuesday, during my vacation, the doorbell rang at 8.00 o'clock. The postal carrier came with a big package. Ohhh boy, I was sooo excited. I ran upstairs to the apartment like Speedy Gonzalez and immediately unwrapped everything. *lol*
I finally got my new "baby" called SLICE machine. Yeppiiiii

The same day I got a padded envelope, filled with brads and charms, that I bought at embellishments.de in Germany.

After I have received the new winter images from Motivet, I had to use them straight away. ;-) To start with, I have choosen the stamp "feeding the deer". Isn't this a cute image? I hope you like my newest creation.

Hello everybody

Yeeppiii, my hubby and I have now 1 week of vacation. Unfortunately, as it usually happens when the biggest stress is over, I catched now a cold. :-(
Today the weather is grey and clowdy, so I had a good reason to stay at home and craft. Eventhough I feel not so well, I still found some energy to make a card. ;-)

A good friend of mine asked me whether I would like to go with her to a Christmas market and try selling my cards. Well, I've never tried this before but of course I agreed. This is the reason why I try now to craft as much as I can. I mean I don't want to make a bad impression and go there only with a range of 10 cards. So I have to produce A LOT, and not only X-Mas cards. So I am going to be very busy until December! But doesn't matter, I am having fun and hope to sell some of my cards. I mean I have to find a way to finance my expensive hobby, since I still haven't found a sponsor! *lol*

OK, now I want to finally show you my card I did today.

I have used this lovely Henry-image from Whiff of Joy, that I coloured with my copics. I have followed a sketch that my Sister printed out for me. It took me quite a while until I had it finished, but I am very happy with the result. The design paper is from Darcie's.

Hello everybody

A friend of mine went last year to the biggest stamping fair in Europe, called "Stempel Mekka" and brought this cute Magnolia stamp for me. My hubby and I went then to Australia for 4 months and therefore I unfortunately couldn't use the image anymore. Now, 1 year later, we can soon again celebrate "Halloween" and that's why I finally had to make a card with this lovely image.

This time I also decorated the inside of the card and used one of the new Nestabilities from Spellbinder. I very much like this shape.

It was my Sister's 30th Birthday on September 27th and I wanted to make an elegant card for her and have therefore chosen an image from Whiff of Joy, which I haven't used before. The text ist also from WOJ. My Sister very much liked it, so I was happy too. :-)

When I was at the stamping fair "Stempel Mekka" in Germany, I had to buy the new images from the "Henry Mouse Christmas Collection", plus this cute autumn girl, called Charlotte. They are all sooooo adorable. So it was clear that this time I wouldn't wait so long to use my new stamps. And this time I also found design papers which match perfectly to the images. ;-)

Hello everybody

I never made 2 postings on one day but since I made these cards a long time ago, I thought it's finally time to upload them.

My mother-in-law bought once this very cute stamp from "House Mouse" and I thought this would perfectly fit for my brother-in-law's 30st Birthday.

My Sister and her boyfriend went on holiday. His father has a house in the italian part of Switzerland. Well, and since my sister's boyfriend hardly ever receives mail there, I made this "holiday card" for him. He was sooooo excited when he found an envelope in the mailbox. I am glad he liked my card.

Last but not least, this is the card I made for my friend's Birthday, which was on August 1st. Herefore I have used this lovely image, designed by Elisabeth Bell. Shame on me, this is such a cute stamp and it was my first time I used it.
