Lange ist es her...

Hallo zusammen

Lange ist es her seit meinem letzten Posting. Viel ist gelaufen in den letzten Jahren, doch ich habe zum Glück die Freude und Energie zum Basteln wieder gefunden. Dies auch dank einer Arbeitskollegin, die zu meiner Freundin geworden ist. Der Zufall wollte es, dass wir uns gesucht und gefunden haben. :-) Und das lustige an der ganzen Sache ist, dass sie auch stempelt. Wir konnten es zu Beginn beide nicht glauben, doch als wir uns Bilder von Magnolia's, Elisabeth Bell Stempel etc. zeigten wussten wir, dass es Schicksal sein muss. Wir waren völlig aus dem Häuschen. *lol*
Wir versuchen uns regelmässig zu treffen um gemeinsam zu basteln. Da wird immer viel gequatscht, lecker gegessen und selbstverständlich auch gebastelt. ;-)

In all den Jahren war es nicht so dass ich gar nichts gebastelt habe, doch ich hab meine Werke, aus welchen Gründen auch immer, nicht mehr veröffentlicht. Ich möchte versuchen dies nachzuholen und meine gebastelten Werke eins nach dem anderen zu posten.
Als Einstieg möchte ich mit einer Karte beginnen, welche ich für mein Schwesterherz zum Geburtstag gebastelt habe. Da meine Schwester das Nähen für sich neu entdeckt hat kam mir die spontane Idee, Tilda auf die Fadenspule zu setzen. Ich hoffe die Karte gefällt euch. Ich würde mich über euer Feedback freuen.

Well, to be honest there isn't one I don't like from her entire collections. I not only love this new image because it's so cute but also because it's one for the boys. Yeeeeahhh, it's always very nice and useful to have an image for the boys/men. So this one will be one of my favourites!

I love you this much!

Hello everybody!

Today I have a new card for you, using this adorable digi image, designed by the very talented Elisabeth Bell. The image is called "I love you this much" and can be found in Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection Gallery.

I finally used my new sewing machine that I got from my parents. Ohh, I just love my new "toy". Of course I still need some practice but so far I am quite happy with my first attempt. ;-) I hope you like it too.

Again I coloured the image with my Copic Sketch Markers and used lots of stickles. Just can't resist to it. ;-)

Rachel, little Angel

Hello everybody

It's been a long time since I last posted a card on the Digi Bells Blog. So I am very happy that I can present you now my latest work.
Today I have used this cute digi image called "Rachel, little Angel" and made an easel-card. This adorable digi image and many more can be found in Elisabeth Bell's Digital Gallery.
This time I wanted to sew a little bit, so I used a template that I found once on the internet. OMG, sewing everything on my own took me longer than doing the rest of the card. *lol*
Doesn't matter, I like the way it turned out and I hope you like it too. Around the image I have attached a ribbon, which gives the card a nice touch.

Ohhhhh, I am totally excited... My Sister recently received a sewing machine from our parents. I was very happy for her because I knew that she totally freaked out. Well, guess what I got now? I also received the same sewing machine. Yeeeeeeaaahhh, I have for sure the best parents in this whole world.
I am just copying the picture from my Sister's Blog to show you my new *baby*. Isn't it just BEAUTIFUL?


Since practice makes perfect, I want to experiment now a lot, so that next time I can show you a "sewed card". :-)))

EBW Challenge Blog - January Project

Hello everybody!

Today is again the 25th. One of my favourite days every month. It doesn't only mean that the salary is coming... *lol* It also means that it's challenge time over at the Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog. In case you missed last month' challenge, don't worry because today and every 25th of the month you get a new chance to participate.
This month the challenge is to alter anything but it must have the theme of LOVE, which should be an easy one, so close to Valentine's Day. ;-)


It's mere chance that every image that I used herefore is from Whiff of Joy but they just fit perfectly together. The main image called "Willow with Gingerbread heart" is from the winter collection but can easily be used for different occasions. The rest of it, such as embellishments and Design Paper are from my stash. The image is coloured as always with my "magic" Copic Markers. I would never ever give them away. *lol*
Eventhough it's obvious, I still have to say that I just love EVERYTHING that Elisabeth Bell creates. I wonder how my life was before I met her and found her amazing designs. :-)

Elisabeth Bell's January Digi Blog Hop

Hello everybody

It's been a long time since I last posted but today I am very happy and proud to present you Elisabeth Bell's brand-new January Digi image called "My Prince". I can't believe it myself what she does every time to show us the most wonderful images. I am sure you will love it as much as I do. :-)
The image straight away reminded me of the beautiful Walt Disney Movie "Kiss the Frog". Well, I coloured the princess the same way as in the movie.

It seems that since yesterday afternoon I have got the stomach flu. Great!
Ohhhh, I was so happy to enjoy the weekend but now I am afraid I will spend it walking from the bed to the bathroom. :-(

Ok, let's move on now to my little project. Since this Blog Hop is "candy-related", I created this candybox and filled it with little chocolates called "Bacio", which are originally from Italy. They are just too yummi! :-)

Li'l Cowboy

Hello everybody and happy Wednesday!

Over night it started again to snow a lot, here in Switzerland. Maybe it will last for a while and we are going to have a white Christmas. ;-)
It's been a long time since I last made a "male-card". For sure it's never bad to have some on stock. ;-) I tried to keep it simple and not to use many Embellishments, which for me was not so easy. Well, at the end I couldn't resist to some stickles but I think it fits well. What do you think?

Ginnie, Gliding with Butterflies

Hello everyone!

For all of you living in the States... How was your Thanksgiving? I very much hope you had a wonderful day and a BIIIIG Turkey. :-)
Two days ago it started to snow in Switzerland. To look at it, it's actually very beautiful but I nevertheless don't really like it. Too cold for me. Yes I know, I'm not a real Swiss. *lol*

EBW Challenge Blog - November Project

Hello everybody!

Today it's already the 25th. Do you know what this means??? It's again Challenge time over at the Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog.
This month the project will be to make "anything christmas". So this should be an easy one, since it totally fits to the season. Please make ANYTHING BUT A CARD or a card with lots of different folds. You choose...

I saw the idea of a "candy box" in the latest Magnolia Ink Magazine "Christmas Edition". This project was so easy and fun to do and is apart from that a lovely gift. On the lid of my box, I have used Elisabeth Bell's adorable Digital Stamp called "Eden's Second Christmas" which you can find in her Digital Collection Gallery. Isn't Eden a real cutie?

A Tasty Read

Hello everyone!

I hope all is fine with you. Today, after two days of strong wind and heavy rain, the sun is finally back. Yeeppiiii
It is such a beautiful day that my card which I would like to present you, expresses exactly what I will do: Go outside, reading a good book and eat something healthy. *lol*
This very cute image called "A Tasty Read" means a lot to me, since it was my very first image that I owned from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection. Isn't she just too cute? I love her dearly.
It's not that I can't take decisions on my own but sometimes I would ask hubby which colours would fit best for an image. I affectionately call him "my creative director", which makes him feel very important and makes him also proud. So this time he said that he would like this cute little girl to have blond hair. So his wish was my command. *lol*
For that image I have chosen the text "Once upon a time", which probably is exactly what is written in her book.

Elmit has toothache
